Just In! SkinnyMeTea - the Teatox rave

Hello there!
Just got my SkinnyMeTea package this morning, for those of you that have never heard of SkinnyMeTea don't worry it's not any crazy fad diet or anything. It's a detox tea, so it claims to be, right now I'm 100% sure if it's much more different or sufficient compared to a regular cup of green tea (green tea is super good for you and aids in weight loss). But, I'm ready to give it a try and see if it can kick start a healthy life style as many reviews states click here to read  about it.

I ordered the HealthyMe 14days pack and the Acai Tea pack as well (25 teabags, like a regular teapack) I really wanted to try the SkinnyMe Teatox (14-28 days either one) since that's the one I've heard the biggest rave about but after comparing the 2 I went with the HealthyMe Tea also $5 AUS cheaper lol. I went with the Acai tea cause it has similar effect but supposedly aid in continues weight loss so I thought why not add the $15 on that one. Paid for it on the 10th and arrived just a week later! 7 days, that's probably the fastest I've ever received a package overseas before even I was told it would first arrive 15 days after shipping it out for the postage I give it a big+ the letter/package was sealed closely and save, nothing seemed bad at first glance

A little of it had tumbled out of the sealed teabags

Comes with a slip of paper (disclaimer) that there's no tampering nor things added to the tea, 100% healthy etc
SkinnyMe Acai Tea, HealthyMe Tea, Disclaimer paper

SkinnyMe Acai Tea
SkinnyMe Açaí tea may help: (I like how they added the 'may' and yes I highlighted it)
  • Aid weight loss
  • Counteract fat storage & help in the conversion of fat to energy (burn fat)
  • Aid digestion
  • Antioxidant properties (detoxify & fight free-radicals)
  • Promote skin health
  • Improve cellular health
  • Boost energy levels
  • Improve concentration (Oh, well let's see about that

For maximal results we suggest using SkinnyMe Açaí tea in conjunction with a SkinnyMe teatox (14 or 28days). Consume the tea the middle of the day (between the morning loose leaf and the night time colon cleanse).

 - Taken from their website.
It comes with 25 teabags, they smell a bit funky kinda as if they were burned or roasted in some weird way but, not everything that smells good taste good so we'll see, heard that it's quite delicious so hopefully I'll enjoy itWhat annoys me a little bit is when companies like these/health always suggest maximal results or better ones comes if you basically spend more money and buy more ._.
Is it a sin to be cheap on a budget but still wanting to be healthy ?
But I love tea
" (use at your discretion, we recommend 1-3 tea bags per day) can be infused as many times as you like (or until the water is no longer coloured). "

So hopefully I can re-use them again & again, great!

I'll be reviewing the Açaí Tea later on after I'm done with my 14 day HealthyMe tea

The instructions are on the backside of this little card
 HealthyMe Tea
HealthyMe tea may help: (Again 'may' help)
  • Assist in weight loss
  • Cleanse & detoxify
  • Suppress appetite & control cravings
  • Regulate blood sugar levels reducing sugar cravings
  • Assist in the digestion of fats and sugar
  • Increase metabolism
  • Improve skin health

Funny how it sounds almost exactly like the Açai tea..But, anyhow!

Ingredients:
Oolong Leaf, Sencha Green Tea, Yerba Mate, Dandelion Leaf, Ginseng Leaf, Lemon Grass, Celery Leaf, Nettle Leaf, Goji Berries (Fresh & Powdered), Açai Powder.
Taste:HealthyMe tea tastes light and fresh. The addition of celery leaf gives it a fresh, clean taste that is balanced by the citrus of the lemongrass and the sweetness of the goji berries. The green tea adds a sharp flavour and smooth dimension.
That doesn't sound all too awful. To be honest I've been living my life on a herbal tea called "Fitné" it's a thai brand, but basically it's a laxative tea I didn't put much effort into researching the effects/side effects of drinking senna leaves.. I would say if you ever come across the tea, it does do wonders but, long term use it'll only hurt you, your body will NEED it to poop, yes it needs the senna leaves and without it you could end up with no bowl movement for days. I ended up not doing no.2 for 7 days, and no that's not normal. Use those products with care, it's a short term deal, your body can't rely on those things, rely on yourself that's all you really need. And food, food is important and good
I'm planning on doing a Youtube review of it as well, kinda like a process, I will be eating healthy and do light exercise along with drinking these teas to see if they do AID/ASSIST in weight loss and see how my skin will react, if bloating will go down or if I tone up, how I feel about cravings if it truly does suppress my appetite (cause boy I need that!), I'll come back to it in about 16-20 days from now on (I need to prepare myself, LOL)
Sorry for the boring blog post!
Thanks for reading though
Have you ever considered these teatox trends?
What do you know, and what do you think about it?

Happy Valentines Day ♥

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! ~ ♥ So even though this is commercialized so bad to be a lovers day with chocolate for him or her it's bullshit ok, b to duh s;
1) You shouldn't need a specific day (date, etc) like Valentine's to confess/show/appreciate/love other people, there's birthdays/weekdays/weekends/364 other days that works perfectly fine as well yo. And giving someone else something nice even if it's not a 'special day' still feels fucking special so fuck that.
 2) The whole "Officially Foreveralone day everyone!" single people that say this, sorry to say, but really? Might as well announce it out loud every single day during the other 364 days in the year until you find yourself a partner, Valentine's day isn't a excuse to put your hate on other's, you might as well send your mother a rose or your daddy a box of liquor chocolate, perhaps give your friends and family some chocolate. CAUSE YOURE NOT ALONE + You'll find your nemo just keep swimming

With that finally outta the way..Sorry it had been on my mind for like 3 days people slamming up their "Foreveralone" slogan as if it was a public holiday to be sad about yourself and to hate on others. You most likely do that every day anyway Mr.Sorry-for-myself-fancy-pants. + You could just enjoy a day of pampering YOURSELF, ALONE - Cause that's pretty good too. Or with friends, you don't exactly need a lover for this certain day, just saying..again
The chocolate I gave to hubby this morning
Actually I also got him some Kit Kat, dark chocolate and Reesee-something I dunno those American peanut butter-peanut-bars (that just taste like Snickers to me) though I just got those cause Hubby got sick and thought more = comfort food Poor baby just stuck in bed :C Then again just passing time with playing with his new Instagram account~ Which is @eric8983 if anyone wants to look at a cute Korean boy.

Tea n Honey

#Motd

More vibrant in real with pink-orange under tones, a bit spring with some romance :DD

For a little sweet and cheerful 'pop' I went with a orange liptint from Etude House

We were originally going to go on a date ofcourse that changed when he got sick but nevertheless I LOVE homemade meals, basically cooking is fun time for me. I went around to buy ingredients for what I had planned was going to be chicken soup/stew but, changed it to curry (Korean curry his mother sent us) over all it was a cozy day. Also my first Valentine's day where I'm not alone! I never thought this day would come, LOLOL so grateful

Hope you had a nice day! Thanks for reading!

Bibimbab In A Rice Cooker

Hey there! So a few days ago all the street vendors were closed. Literally all of them around our area and up all the way to the closest mall, even at that point we could only eat food at the mall or just go much further to find 'cheaper' food; I didn't even know why..But without knowing ended up cooking at home! (After eating our breakfast there). Hubby said he would make me bibimbam (cause I have a love for that stuff srsly) after some grocery shopping and just lazing it at home, watching movies all day and playing games (phone games)

We began the cooking later on, since we had a lot of different vegetables for our bibimbab the proper preparations had to be made, like; cooking everything in order etc takes a while with just one pot..

Disclaimer; yes, I know we are cooking on the floor - "Omg, that's so gross!" Technically, yeahhh..but in the this matter use your eyes, nothing edible is actually touching the floor + we clean the floor 2 times a day cause we shred hair like mad feral cats LOL. Also we clean up in-between each ingredient cause if not it would make a mess and not taste good either ._. OVERALL - Our apartment doesn't have much table space nor space in general + no kitchen so our cooking pot basically can't be else where but on the floor and cooking out on the balcony is way more unhygienic and literally gross af because of pigeons. Hate them. ugh

That blue cloth in the back is actually our bathroom mat so please no 'messy' comments LOL

  1. Green bell pepper - lightly cooked on the pan, just in a few slices (Hubby doesn't like them, I do)
  2. Shitake mushroom - stir fried till brown (more brown lol) should be done with butter but, whatever~
  3. Japanese roasted pumpkin - precooked from the store, just reheat on the pan.
  4. Cucumber - just slice it up like on the picture, you can stir fry them if you want.

  5. Spinach - boiled, rinsed 3 times in cold water then squish all the water out of them, mix soy sauce and garlic along with the spinach in a bowl.
  6. Carrot - stir fry for a few minutes, nothing special.
  7. Bean sprouts - these fuckers takes forever and probably the one that takes the longest to prepare. Clean them, take of the head (less of a hassle to cook later on) rinse 3 times after sorting good from the bad and cleaning them - again. Then proceed to soak them in water for 10 minutes, to then boiled them on low heat for 20 minutes, rinse in cold water, mix with sesame oil and garlic + they smell.
  8. Onion + Garlic - Slide up the onion and mince the garlic, we used 2 onions and 4 gloves of garlic.

Delicious, fresh yummy minced beef from Australia! So bad good, wish I could eat it all the time, for bibimbab, god I love bibimbab.. Too bad we didn't buy any kimchi but, it's a little pricey and we eat it hella fast. I just love that stuff. I love foods, healthy-hearty-homecooked-foods actually <3

  • Add the beef along with the sauteed onions and garlic, till brown, add a teaspoon of sugar (brown sugar in our case, any sugar can do) and a tablespoon of soy sauce. Depending on your preferred taste, add more sugar and/or soy sauce for a stronger flavor (not necessary, but test it out).

We used our rice cooker as a bowl, its really convenient; save dishes (do less kk), easier to deal with when you're 2/a couple that are going to share a meal + it's pretty hilarious when it just explodes with too much meat and veggies. That's what happens when you have a tiny rice cooker.

  • Arrange the vegetables side-by-side, or just toss it all in it's a matter of preference I suppose; you're going to have to mix it all together anyways. Top the beef on the top, adding an egg, fried egg or a soft boiled egg is perfect (we just accidentally made an omelet out of our soft boiled egg, didn't know 7-11 sold pre-cooked soft boiled eggs in pairs. Come on) as a topping on the top of the beef (see what I did there? No? Excuse my lameness.) Add some bibimbab hot/spicy sauce (made from gochujjang) and mix it all together ~

That's how you make bibimbab in a rice cooker. Practice clean and safe cooking! Thanks for reading!

Question:
Was this even remotely helpful, or just funny to read?

Long Awaited Reunion

Reunions can suck, like school reunions; mine always sucked hard.

But, one among friends I’ve not been able to see since 2011-2012 last time I was in Thailand studying here I made a handful of good friends only sad part; scattered all over the world T__T USA to Japan to Thailand, freakishly far apart.

So we all came together during the holiday season, celebrated New Years, dining out and catching up. Funny to me how everyone had not changed a bit but, I had not only changed in appearance, mentally too.

Yeah I might just be a 19 year old girl (turning 20 soon..) though my friends on the other hand are at a minimum 5 years older than me (and that is the youngest one of them) I actually felt older than them, I managed to stay extremely quiet and just look from the side lines..

I’m kind of like that among friends observing other’s fun times and just fill in, not in a bad way though!
I enjoy it too, seeing other people have fun.

Here’s some pictures of jolly friends and food C:

Actually had nice when I left the apartment..died on the way ; w ; )9 Excuse long retarded fingers. lol

Having a blast after eating a yummy Thai Lunch at Central World! After that we went for Japanese dessert, After You where they specialize in Shibuya Honey Toast, delicious beverages like tea and coffee + awesome cakes! We all shared a Honey Toast My first time; pretty alright :DD and Chocolate Lava, I'm not a cake/dessert fan though I'm letting myself indulge on these rare creatures (rare to me) and have to admit these were pretty delicious and worth a cramping stomach ache.

Yumi and Pie went to pray at the shrines outside of the mall, both very famous; 1st one is for business, school etc "life" 2nd one is the "Single's Temple" where single people pray for luck in love and to get a partner, pretty funny knowing Yumi had been dating 8 guys in 1 year and still couldn't get a steady boyfriend. And really wants to start a family within 2014..

She went to the "gods"  ≧ヮ≦

The "business" / Life shrine

Done with the prayer = Happy Yumi
