Hey there, you sexy..you. /AwkwardTurtleStrikesAgain
I got great news I finally got a job! I work as a waiter, part time at a sushi restaurant; so I get free sushi at work for dinner and wow darm it's so good. And I've had A LOT of good quality sushi nothing like Giro though this restaurant surprised me. The fish is so fresh and amazingly tasty, the sushi chef is SO fast.
Also I got some paid model jobs, 1 tomorrow then another one next week. I'm so excited! 500SEK per hour, guys I can pay half my rent with the gig tomorrow ; w ; ) I'm so happy, money has been an issue lately so I'm glad I can now cover the rent.
Here you get some foodporn pictures from the past few days for you :)
Well hello bunny hubby :'D
Eric's family sent us 2 GIANT packages from the States, first 1 had some of his clothes that got soaked in kimchi water since they sent us his mother's homemade kimchi and radish kimchi. IT IS DELICIOUS btw, just saying. The other one was all instant rameyon and clothes, Eric's mother and sister got me yoga shorts and lots of OPI nail polishes I feel so lucky<3
Oishi Grandwas the best buffet I have ever been to!
Let it be in Thailand, Denmark or any other country I have visited this was by far the best. From the quality freshly cut; in front of your eyes salmon/various fish to the busy sushi chefs molding and creating delicious sushi; the list is much longer but, it was worth every penny. In Thailand you probably (most likely) will find cheaper and more affordable buffets including: Oishi Express, Shabushi and numerous of others.
Price price comes to a NET price on about 800Baht person ($24~25, 134kr.) for me, this is incredibly cheap, it's surreal! In Denmark I would pay 200kr (+) for a just a all you can eat "running" sushi and let's just say it's not "the best" quality most of the time regardless of the price being so darn similar.
This place was gold. I loved it, even with a 3 hour time limit for Hubby and I it was plently of time. Even though we don't do buffets well, even with the price this is not only worth it but also we ate enough to be able to say that if we had gotten the same thing in a restaurant we would've paid the white outta our eyes starve, let to die here. (expensive stuffffffff-) ('◉◞⊖◟◉` )
Tenpanyaki stand, fresh stuff!! Btw, the Australian beef was amazing. Just pure, amaze.
The restaurant itself is huge, with various of food "stations" like any buffet. This one was just over the top, they had everything. And it was free, just wow. They had a dessert station, what kind of buffet doesn't have that? Well this one got a DIY pancake MACHINE, a Haagen Daaz icecream stand and a big selections of cakes and puddings. Also they served fruit salads. Standard right?
You can see a hint of a Haagen Daaz sign in the left, this includes 3 different food selections!
Hubby on the right grabbing some smoked salmon - Chef on the left cutting fresh sashimi salmon! So good..
Icecream, pancakes, desserts..Great right? The pancake machine really had me and I'm not keen on desserts but I had to try it. Had to.
These are at every table, you bring them to the yaki (the grill station) so they can bring the food to your table after you pick them out, no sweat it's so easy!
The most delicious beef I've ever had, thank you Chef, thank you for the medium rare-melting-on-my-tongue-goodness. It was beautiful. LOOK AT IT
Not only is this place easy to find, but just come by on a week day after 1-2PM and getting a table will be no problem. The staff speaks english and remember EVERYTHING is free there, if you want alcohol on the other hand that's the only thing they'll charge you for. They tell you, the menu at the drinks/beverage station says so. It just that simple and easy! It was a bunch of fun eating this, it was delicious and I tried so many quality foods I have never had the opportunity to eat before. Best eating experience ever!
This place should be on any foreigners list of "eats" if you drop by Thailand you won't regret it.
Also did I mention they make coffee (espresso, latte's, mocha's) and hot chocolate for free? Oh the caffeine
Location: Siam Discovery, 2nd floor. You can't miss it
Take a cab to Siam Paragon, or the BTS to Siam Station.

Happy 20th Birthday to me~ 31 days ago. Yeah this post is like a month late which all on my side due to my laziness and personal life not adding up together, 31 days of emotional stress if you may (people following my on Twitter, sorry LOL)
First off, this birthday meant the world to me, not only did I have a blast and some of the best birthday's I've ever celebrated, not to mention this being my first time celebrating after 6 years and I actually got birthday cake! Like, wow. Seriously, wow.
Hubby took me out on a date, the whole day I felt like royalty thanks to that cheesy prince of mine~ I couldn't have asked for anything more than time with him and he just kept surprising me throughout the day, it was so wonderful. JUST LOVED IT OKAY WAS AMAZE BALLS
I've been trying to learn how to contour features on my face (yet to have a highligther) and this is just me ...trying.. to improve? Also I don't have a bronzer/contour brush so I use my powder brush and wash it like once a week cause I'm afraid I might fuck up my brush ._. And..I use a brow kit as bronzer so there's zero shimmer in the formula and I don't get too shiny
Makeup, contouring only :) (not on nose bridge)
Looking sick here, but just missing some color on the lips lol
Duh hello~ derp finished look!
I had been craving sushi like crazy ever since the little sushi shop at our apartment complex shut down, the feels WHY WOULD YOU STOP GIVING US HAPPINESS sigh. We went to Fuji, a Japanese restaurant (At Siam Paragon, located on the G Floor across Yumi Fusion) we had some delicious food, perhaps a bit much of that but, it was breakfast after all
Enjoyed the little (poorly taken :C) food porn?
Spent most of the time after that just walking around, talking about past birthdays and childhood memories over a cup of starbucks and gelato icecream followed by shopping for "birthday" presents for me since Hubby wanted to pay for whatever I wanted, now see that(!) is something I've never heard before in my life!
~
(I've have yet to take pictures of the gifts cause.. erm. Only bought shorts and no tops to go along with it)
//facepalm
After a longer time of shopping, btw I'm picky as fuck so took forever and I ended up with just 2 shorts but, hey better than nothin' ~ We had tacos (MY FIRST TACOS) for dinner since Hubby craved it and I have to admit it's not that bad, nice and spicy
On the way home Hubby also got me a slice of Tiramisu Cheesecake for us to share..so cute cause what happened was that he picked that since I love coffee (TILL MY DYING DAY) turns out that they had too much Tiramisu powder on the slice making it, quite..dry not super pleasant
Hubby's parents and his sister sent me gifts too, which was above anything I would've expected it was unbelievable really, a cute (real) silver necklace and MY FIRST MAKEUP PALETTE; Naked 2 //tears.
At Kastrup Airport, in Copenhagen. Hanging around Joe & the Juice to be able to charge up on phone battery and count the long hours before our flight to Thailand. With a transit flight in Norway we had to spend 16+ hours at the Airport in Denmark before we could get our ass moving, we did nothing but watch movies and chill on Tinychat got a bit grumpy at the end lol.
